1. Protect your personal infomation - I recommend NOT using your real name in your profile. In your profile do NOT post your phone number, or any work or home adress.
2. One you find someone who catches your interest you need to make sure they are who they say they are. Ask for more than one photo of them. Still don't beleive them, then tell them to send you a curent show with your name written on a piece of paper, or something of that nature that proves they are real.
3. Google them - Research the person you are interested in by Googling that persons profile name and real name if you have. Sometimes you can find out infomation that can prove they are real or fake. It's important to be safe so use this technique to screen people online it works great.
4. Ask lots of questions - You should ask lots of questions before you meet them and save that information in a text file on your computer. A little trick is to ask questions then a wek or so later as the same question to see his answer. This is a grea way to see if they are lying to you. Most times people can't remember the exact lies they tell you, this is a quick wa to catch them in a lie.
5. Use common sense - If the guy sounds to good to be true guess what, he probably is. Always be aware, and never let your guard down. Stay safe and happy dating!
